Max Sein Wein, Trio Sauvage 2020 12.5%

A wonderfully unique white wine from Germany. This is a blend of 60% Sylvaner with 40% Pinot Gris and Chardonnay. The latter two are left on skins which means this technically is a bit "orange", though mostly white. It has a glorious nutty, almost smokey aroma, which reminds us of chestnuts at Christmas. Delish and different.

Pairing: a great white for out-of-season, have with pork or chicken.
