Boroli Langhe Nebbiolo 2022 14%

If you want to drink Barolo, one of Italy's most famous wines, but can't afford Barolo prices, this could be a great option for you. Also made from 100% Nebbiolo grape grown in Piemonte, northern Italy, this is from slightly less prized spots than Barolo, but as such offers exceptional value. Deceptively light in colour, Nebbiolo produces wines of power and structure, packed full of acidity, tannin and fruit, with a touch of spice. Because this is young, it can be quite "big" when newly opened, we suggest decanting it and pairing with food.

Pairing: any kind of braised meats, the Italians love it with a bit of veal. We also really rate mushrooms, try a Bourguignon!
