Folk orange wine, 12%, 2021

An instant favourite among the Wine Club staff, this is from Calabria in the south of Italy. Made from the rare Pecorello grape, this has just a few days skin contact to create a wine that is full of freshness and fruit flavour. Wild yeast, no temperature control, no filtering, no fining, minimum sulphur added. A good gateway into the world of natural orange wines. 

Pairing: lighter cured meats or just a bag of salted crisps.
